This Saturday course runs from 9am to 5pm over two Saturdays, a total of 2 sessions.

There are many pitfalls in starting a small business and often people find out the hard way. 
This course introduces you to the basic concepts you need to be aware of and is designed to help you avoid making common mistakes and steer you down the correct path in setting up a small business.  

This course is suitable for new business start-up owners and for existing business owners.
Course Content includes:

• Business success and failure factors.
• Basic market research.
• Basic marketing.
• Record keeping.
• Cashbook and bank reconciliation.
• Basic accounting.
• Legal structures: sole trader, partnership, company.
• Cashflow forecasting.
• Arranging finance.
• Costing and pricing.
• Taxation.

A business plan template and Financial plan templates will be provided on the course.
Course Fee 
$190 including GST. If two or more people attend from the same business a 50% discount is offered for the second and subsequent persons.
